Michael is an adaptable filmmaker specialising in wildlife, science and adventure. As a cameraman, he films blue chip natural history (long lens, slow motion, specialist macro, drone), presenter-led series and observational documentaries. He’s filmed in over 50 countries on land, up trees, on boats, helicopters, planes and in studios. He’s also produced and edited  for television,  charities, NGO’s and ethical businesses. Story-telling runs through all of his work. He’s written the odd magazine article too. 

In his free time, Michael can often be found rock climbing, wildlife-watching, paddling on rivers and managing his garden as a miniature nature reserve.
